Vera Falls
Vera falls is a stunning place, this very serene at the foot of Mt. Malinao in the Province of Bicol, Albay in the Philippines.
My friends and I visited Vera falls, we hit the road using my friends motorbike, a easy way to get there. We took the scenic route via sabloyon road, which we accessed through a fork in the road at barangay Tuburan near Ligao East Elementary School.
At Bicol, Albay Province in the Philippines, Its about 8 kilometers from Tabaco City, an hour and half drive from Legaspi City and about 45 minutes drive from Ligao City via Sabloyon road. I live in Ligao City but way back September 2011 just visited this stunning place! 😉
it was a great adventure, although some are rough road, and a few minutes walk to the rice fields because that time we lost our way 😉 but we really like it! but then, we hit this kind of view, its a simple joy to experienced and see this mother nature, its a wanderlust indeed!
We left our motorbikes at the empty parking space. This bridge is a bit scary but it was fun! 😉
The sounds of the waterfalls, tweet of the birds, and the breeze of the fresh air, the waterfall raced down in a series of cascades. As we neared the base of the falls, the surging 25 meter cascades came into view, it was more serene and picturesque.
A small water fall, but one of the several that fall in stages down a steep of a rocky slope.
One of my friend told me that Father Vera, Parish Priest of Saint Nicholas in Malinao, learned about this natural wonder and introduced it to people.
