(Photo Idea: #followmeto and one of my favorite traveler photographer.) my husband and I as a couple goal photography 😉

Batanes is a breath-taking. A visually charming, a postcard-worthy, and the genuine hospitality of the native people, the Ivatans, the honesty place I’ve ever experienced in my life, the zero crime rate, the tourist friendly place. Batanes is a very moody, a fragile, you need to balance her which day to explore, she’s changing moods, sometimes calm and too sunny, sometimes you’ll be facing the biggest typhoon if your timing is not right.

Southern part of Batanes is one of my favourite in batanes, every corner is a stunning and a dropping jaw, a picturesque indeed! we planned to swim and fishing though its not included in the itinerary but since we are not in a group, we have freedom and we manage the time to enjoy the southern part of batanes.

Southern Batan is located six kilometers south of basco, mahatao is rich in culture, evident in the unearthed archeological sites dating back to 1200-300BC.

Batanes composed of 10 Islands with only three inhabited ( Batan, Itbayat, and Sabtang)  while the islets of Dinem, Siayan, Ditarem, Misanga, Mavudis, dequey, and Vuhus are uninhabited. It has six municipalities, Basco, Mahatao, Ivana, and Uyugan this are located in Batan, and the Island towns of Sabtang and Itbayat. However, for tourism purposes, Batan Island is divided into two, the north and south batan.

The Bridge was constructed without any reinforcement steel and mainly with lime and stone, to hold the mortar in place, until it hardened. It is probably the only Spanish-built bridge in the province still accessible to motor vehicles.
